Trump Accounts Have Arrived. Here’s What Families Need to Know

Trump Accounts, which allow parents and guardians to establish an individual retirement account for children under age 18 who have a valid Social Security number, went live on July 4. Babies born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028 can get a $1,000 seed contribution from the federal government.
